Welcome! We are super excited to sit down with you (virtually) to chat about your business, and your journey into entrepreneurship! Here at ActionCOACH Arizona, we know better than anyone that running a business is hard, and sometimes can feel isolating. As a part of our mission to help Business Owners succeed, we host this Business Spotlight Series to share real stories of real entrepreneurs here in your local market. We love to help promote your business, while simultaneously providing value to the business community by sharing your story.
Use this page as a resource in preparation for your guest appearance. Learn top tips to make the most from your interview, what to expect, review past guests, and much more. We look forward to the conversation!
Prepare
Take a few minutes to review the information on THIS PAGE. Below you will find the list of questions our hosts will pull from, a few tips and tricks to ensure your setup is optimal, and a list of FAQ to answer all the questions that we are sure you may have.
Join the Podcast
On the day of your guest appearance - it is best to join a few minutes before your scheduled time. This ensures time to sort through any technical issues before we get started. Once on the call - your host will take a few minutes at the beginning to walk through the flow of the interview and address any questions you still have. We ensure everyone is set before officially jumping into the conversation. REMEMBER - Relax and HAVE FUN!
Share with the World
In about 2-4 weeks following your guest appearance, the team will be sending over the links to the conversation + the offline copies for your personal use. You are welcome to use and share in whatever way is best for you. Our team will be sharing to all the major platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Email to our Database).

Tips To Prepare
(The 10 Ways to Be Set for Success):
RELAX! The best interviews happen when the guest shows up ready to have some fun. The more you are willing to share, the more natural the conversation will flow.
Setting the Environment:
Find a quiet place to take the meeting from, ideally from your computer (rather than phone).
Test your camera and mic and ensure they are in working order. Built in cameras are fine, external mics are recommended (wired headphones work great!)
If you have a ring light, using is encouraged. Having a light source just beyond the camera provides a better image on for the video.
Camera positioning - adjust camera angle so that your head and shoulders are visible in the center of the frame.
Additional Settings:
It is highly recommended to turn on any form of "Do Not Disturb" for your devices. (At minimum - silence any calls, texts, and emails until the end of the podcast).
If using a Mac - for best quality, turn on "Mic Isolation" and "Studio Lighting". (Settings and set up may vary by device).
Final Thoughts:
If you are in a place where interruptions may happen (i.e. home office with kids running around), we recommend making a simple paper sign that can be taped to the door stating - "Do not disturb - recording in progress".
Wear what is comfortable and best represents YOU. Do not feel that you need to dress up or down to participate.
REMEMBER - the tips above are only suggestions. We want to provide you the best overall content for your use - that said, we have completed some amazing interviews with the guest joining via phone from his/her vehicle.
